Key Role:
Lead risk assessment activities, applying subject matter expertise to develop and execute strategies, plans, and processes to capture, investigate, and assess performance, quality, cost, schedule, personnel, and contract and subcontract management risk. Collaborate with risk owners, conducting risk probability and impact analysis, and defining strategies and methods to minimize or mitigation risk and optimize opportunities. Facilitate program Risk Review Boards (RRBs) or Risk Control Boards (RCBs), ensuring all known and previously unknown program risks are addressed, monitored, and actioned in accordance with the program’s Risk Management Plan (RMP). Mentor program personnel, leaders, and the peers on risk and opportunity management.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with organizing, compiling, and assessing program or project risks
Experience as a project leader, collaborating with diverse teams and communicating with senior leaders and executives
Knowledge of industry and Booz Allen risk management principles and best practices
Ability to identify process improvements and recommend solutions
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with multiple stakeholders
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), or FEDSIM programs
Experience with government consulting a plus
Experience with project or program management
Experience developing and writing Risk Management Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Possession of strong organizational, task management, and time management skills
PMI CAPM, PMP, or RMP certification a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
